Dad was sitting left seat (he has far more flying hours) He was into procedure and had just feathered the out engine - when the other engine went. This is in heavily wooded NE Wisconsin. The only place to go was were they had taken off - or a treetop crash. They barely made it back to the field. Somebody had siphoned the tank. And they missed it. Dad says - sometimes you survive stupid. But only sometimes.
