Here's something that belongs in the Random Thoughts thread; almost all the atoms that have more than 2 protons are a result of fusion and originate from inside the stellar furnaces of stars' cores, the other 99% at The Beginning were from the first 20 minutes or so. So, pretty much everything that isn't hydrogen or helium around y'all is ... even ... yeah, that too.

I'm scrolling through the headlines on MSN and one catches my eye. The headline claims the article is a list of unnecessary things that people waste money on. Okay, that could be helpful. The picture behind the headline is of a man (wearing a facemask) holding a package of toilet paper.

How did we go from TP being nearly impossible to buy to it being unnecessary? Did I miss a memo?

Went to CostCo today instead of early Saturday morning, as the wife needed some medical things. There were vast inroads made in the TP section. We have enough (free) quilt fabric that my wife could cut up and we could use for wiping that we won't have a problem. Kind of nasty having to launder them. I hated laundering diapers. >.<

Just let someone try to take my quilt fabric.   Dodgy

**My office/sewing area was mostly storage.  Once my mask and quilt making kicked into high gear I decided I needed a place where the critters couldn't get to my ever growing pile of stuff.  I have the makings of four more quilts in there now.  I believe the trendy furniture/home makeover shows call this "repurposing".

My wife has 12, count 'em, TWELVE 30 gallon totes full of fabric, and a cabinet 3 feet high, two feet deep, and 8 feet wide FULL of fabric. Like I said, most of it was free. It came from people who died or went into nursing homes or couldn't see well enough to do quilting anymore. Some of those totes are literally stacked in the back yard behind the house...where she wants a lawn planted.  Dodgy

Hehe

The cage was purchased for the safety of the youngest pup when I got him.  He hasn't been in it for quite some time.  It's use prior to being turned into a crafting cage was for post op care of the older two dogs.

My dogs (and the cat) prefer the couch anyway.

Now watching this on Amazon Prime:

You know, it's kind of weird how this could, with some modifications, still apply to American culture today, making fun of the right's military fetish and their blatant denialism. Although, to be fair, they did get the number of years that Britain had gone without beating the West Indes in cricket wrong: it was closer to 20 than 14, though that could include draws. (Edit: Nope, he's talking about individual matches, not titles.)
