When I was a kid, we didn't get the TV channel that broadcast Batman. I saw it occasionally at a friend's house. I have to ask what the actual fuck it is with TV that the screen is so dark that one can't tell what is going on. Don't get me wrong- I watch maybe 2 hours a month, essentially while walking through the room while my wife is watching- but the picture is so dark that I can't even tell what is going on. 
I *really* miss the "BAM!", "BIFF!", and "POW!", from the original.
WTF does "BIFF!" mean, anyway?
