Bullshit.
Bullshit.
Never did " the gun just went off".
There is ALWAYS some negligent prick involved 99.99999%.of the time with his booger hook on the trigger.
You obviously have no real experience with firearms. I have NEVER seen in over 50 years of gun handling and ownership - nor in my time selling guns or working on them for customers - a gun spontaneously fire. The ONLY one I have heard of - and known examples are very rare - less than 5 known - was a malfunction with the safety on Remington 700 rifles - AND THOSE still required a person to disengage the safety.
Literally 1 in billions odds.
That's not true at all, vintage revolvers were commonly known to fire spontaneously, which is why it was common practice to rest the hammer on an empty chamber.
You obviously DON' T know what you are talking about.
A revolver with a fixed firing pin is kept on an empty cylinder for one reason - to keep it from firing if it is accidentally dropped and lands on the hammer spur.
If the hammer is cocked - or half cocked - the cylinder rotates off the empty chamber onto a loaded one - thus negating it' s safety potential.
Guns do not " spontaneously fire" you ignorant fool.

I have never gotten a good answer as to how many firearms would coddle the right wing's insecurities.

Thanks for proving your stupid Huggies.....
That is a 1911 semi auto.
It bear as much semblance to a Colt single action army as a Model T Ford does to a 69 Ford Mustang...
And it' s in the hands of an idiot, doing stupid shit.
That' s why you relate to it.

While that may be true (and it may not - I know precious little about firearms), it doesn’t really seem germane to the Baldwin shooting, since he wasn’t using a vintage revolver.
Boru
He actually was, the film is a western. Not saying it was an authentic antique revolver, but that was the style of gun that was fired.

The range instructor clearly stated it was an EQUIPMENT MALFUNCTION.
I'm also curious to what "stupid shit" you think the guy did to cause the weapon to fire?

If 1911 can accidentally discharge the older gun most definitely can. Regardless of what the guy was doing.

How the hell would he know if it was " equipment malfunction" without disassembling and examining the firearm ? Answer - he wouldn' t. He said that for benefit of the camera.
You KNOW 1911s real well?
I do. I have one that I built from parts. ( no two parts from same gun. ) I have 50+ years experience with them. I even qualified expert with one in the service.
I literally know these guns inside and out.
You? You saw a motherfucking video.....
You need changing Huggies.
You're full.
