Yeah, that was horrible.

We really need to convert to Islam so we too can live an unreflected life of mindless devotion and thus become incapable of feeling shame for being the unrepentantly backward, unenlightened, misanthropic, misogynic, superstitious disgrace to humanity like you.

Personally I don't care much about Brexit any more, one way or the other (as someone who voted Remain) because as soon as it went through it got completely overshadowed by the arrival of, and dealing with, Covid, and now, two or three years on in this current crisis, there doesn't seem be any lack of unity or solidarity between us and our European neighbours... in opposition to Putin... despite us no longer being part of the EU. So in other words, to me, Brexit seems pretty much a moot point at this point.

So I was listening to an audiobook and a curious passage came by...

Sun Tzu, The Art of War
Chapter 8
Code:

There are five dangerous faults which may affect a general:
(1) Recklessness, which leads to destruction; #

(2) cowardice, which leads to capture; #

(3) a hasty temper, which can be provoked by insults; #

(4) a delicacy of honor which is sensitive to shame; #

(5) over-solicitude for his men, which exposes him to worry and trouble. #

13

These are the five besetting sins of a general, ruinous to the conduct of war.

Don't know about you guys, but I see Putin in 1, 3 and 4.

1 - Risking WW3
3 and 4 - well... Provoked by insults and conducting with no honour.

""Police officers detain a demonstrator with a poster that reads: "I'm against the war", in Moscow, Russia, Thursday, Feb. 24, 2022, after Russia's attack on Ukraine. Hundreds of people gathered in the center of Moscow on Thursday, protesting against Russia's attack on Ukraine. Many of the demonstrators were detained. Similar protests took place in other Russian cities, and activists were also arrested. (AP Photo/Denis Kaminev)

Shocked Russians turned out by the thousands Thursday to decry their country’s invasion of Ukraine as emotional calls for protests grew on social media. Some 1,745 people in 54 Russian cities were detained, at least 957 of them in Moscow.

If your people converted to Islam, your people would never invent something so horrible like atomic weapons, or doctrines that authorise their invention.

If you never dealt in usury like Islam said, if you never massacred whole nations, if you never stole the world's gold, maybe we wouldn't have reached this situation.

Well, that's a steaming pile of dogshit. If Muslims had the ability to make A-bombs in a war like WW2 you would have.

Yeah, we'd be marrying little girls and chopping the hands off people and requiring women to cover up from head to toe because men can't control themselves. Gee, how silly are the rest of us not to sign up?
