We can each link each other with links that say the opposite about pretty much every part of the war. Some things are done more privately, which gives you plausible deniability to pretend that the obvious didn't happen. Congrats. Keep living with that blindfold on.

So tell me what was in that imaginary peace deal, and why Ukraine wanted it but the U.S. didn't.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Talking about escalations: Switching to war crimes predominantely, like attacking the ukraininan power grid, oh boy, another fucking MASSIVE escalation. All these escalations were fucking massive i say, especially compared to the minor one of annexing Crimea, aka. foreign territory. That wasnt much of an escalation.

And now....Fuck off

Ukraine doesn't have nukes therefore they don't get to do what Russia gets to do. Any highschooler knows this. Catch up.

Hilarious
And Russia doesnt have the nukes the NATO has, so the US gets to tell the Ukraine to escalate or not, and Russia has no say in it.
...according to your stupid "logic" of course.

And now.....back under your rock please, you embarrassment of a reptile.

In any case that would be less of an escalation than pressuring Belarus into invading Ukraine as well. That would be....hold on, ANOTHER MASSIVE FUCKING ESCALATION.

Still, by continuing to finance the war, whether the US gave permission or not,
Dayum, that was easy to make you pedal back, wasnt it?

Well, the West told Ukraine that they weren't allowed to take a peace deal months back. I'm just wondering if the US or NATO is escalating to the point where they're perfectly fine with WW3, or if it's just Zelenskyy who is becoming more of an irrational actor, first by lying to the world and trying to drag them further into the war by accusing Russia of letting their bombs hit Poland, and now going deeper into Russia to attack the nuclear triad. Attacking the nuclear triad raises tensions significantly.

Attacking bases housing airplanes trying to freeze your citizens to death is called "self-defense". I'll wait while you go read up on the idea. There's a lot of literature on it.

First you complain that the US and/or NATO is allegedly calling the shots ... now you're wishing you could be calling the shots. So it seems your problem is not that Ukraine is being treated as a puppet, but that they're not doing as you (and Putin) would wish.

The struck bases inside Russia are launching points for Russian attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure - roads, bridges, hospitals, power stations, etc - and are therefore legitimate military targets. This is not escalation, this is self defense.

Legitimate or not, it makes nuclear warfare far more likely, so I'd say Zelenskyy better quit it and be a good boy.

Yeah, because every single war Europe has had since 1945 had ended in a nuclear conflagration. You people make me so very tired.

As for Zelenskyy being a ‘good boy’, what would be the ‘good boy’ response to your country being invaded?

And while IA is criticizing Ukraine for having the temerity to defend itself and its people, here's a reminder of what they're defending against:

Quote:Dec 18 (Reuters) - Heating has been fully restored to Kyiv after the latest Russian bombardment that targeted water and power infrastructure, the capital's Mayor Vitali Klitschko said on Sunday.

"The city is restoring all services after the latest shelling," Klitschko said on the Telegram messaging app.

"In particular, the capital's heat supply system was fully restored. All sources of heat supply work normally."

Ukrainian officials said Russia fired more than 70 missiles on Friday in one of its heaviest barrages since the Kremlin's Feb. 24 invasion, forcing emergency blackouts nationwide and cutting access to heat and water.

Temperatures in Kyiv and many places across Ukraine were below freezing on Sunday morning, with forecasts expecting them to dip to minus 6 degrees Celsius (21.2 °F) in the capital by the evening.

Kyiv is by far the largest city in Ukraine with an estimated population of about 3 million, with up to two million more in the Kyiv region.

As of late Saturday, a third of the city remained without power.

Where did I backtrack? I was asking a question when I questioned the US' involvement in the attack on the base, not making a declarative statement.

Everything you posted is irrelevant. We know Russia invading Ukraine was bad, for the millionth time. Ukraine attacking the nuclear triad is an awful escalation when you think that the war on the ground is already won by Ukraine. Why escalate such a massive degree when you are already winning?
