Russia and Ukraine
RE: Russia and Ukraine
OFC it is. Bel regurgitates the kremlins alternative histories because they agree with Bel on how USA bad. That's why ukranians have to die and surrender their country, after all.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Ah, you have surveyed what people think "in Russia", I shouldn't be surprised really, given you earlier asserted to know what "most people in the world" thought.

Quote:He was promised that in exchange for the peaceful reunification of Germany, NATO would never expand even one inch to the east. This was promised by Helmut Kohl, James Baker, and Robert Gates.

However, as soon as the next President got into office the promise was broken.

So the Russians have learned that the US doesn't keep its promises.
Putin will want to tell Trump to fuck right off then, I imagine.

Though of course NATO didn't invade anyone, or use armed force to pursue a war of conquest of sovereign states, in the way Putin is doing to the Ukraine. Sovereign nations are free to form legal alliances as they please, or have I missed something?

You’d think there’s already enough legitimate shit to hate about America’s foreign policy that one shouldn’t even need to create fake news about it.

Bel's a troll and it's his schtick.  That and not being able to think on his own, therefore all the name-dropping.  And...all the insults to the members here and his apparent ability to read minds.

He's quite tiresome.

This is from a couple of months ago, but I just now saw it.

Boris Johnson says straight out in an interview that Ukraine is fighting a "proxy war."

Quote:“We’re waging a proxy war, but we’re not giving our proxies the ability to do the job. For years now, we’ve been allowing them to fight with one hand tied behind their backs and it has been cruel.”

Just in case anyone was still in doubt about that.

How does Trump stabbing Ukraine in the back, by giving it over to Putin help? This is all the more reason to give them the aid and support they deserve.

Boris Johnson is not a reliable source for anything considering his own history with Russia

1. Taking large amounts of Russian money and donations in the name of the Tory party

2. Letting Russian Oligarch named Evgeny Lebedev become a member of the house of lords

3. Decades long links to many Russian  Oligarchs

4.Holding secret meetings with an Ex KGB agent named Alexander Lebedev

5. Refusing to launch an investigation into a Russian spy who was courting junior members of his own party despite MI5's warnings

BOJO's support for Ukraine has always be a question of political popularity not genuine  conviction if he could still be taking Russian money and taking trips to Moscow he would be.

Well, if Boris Johnson says so...it must be fact.

Good job convincing the forum.

Consider BOJO was a Russian asset before the war anything he says is suspect.

This photo sums up anything I have to say about BoJo's intelligence:
