I get the impression that your life is a hot mess, and it informs your ideas about life itself - but, maaaaaaaybe.... it's just your life that needs improvement.  Where's that soul forge when you could use one, eh?
My life is not going to improve anytime soon. Perhaps in some far flung future, but I'm not holding my breath. My ideas and theories are all I have. I mean, I have my dachshund too, but of course, she's not going to live forever.

Interesting thing about that, there are people with circumstances better or worse than your own...but it doesn't seem to have any effect on reported happiness. You'd think that people facing the most adverse conditions would be superbeings by now, all the improving suffering you expect them to have experienced....but they aren't, and maybe that's down to how people are good at finding and making their happy.

The point you half belief (at best) is to improve through suffering, but people are good at not suffering, no matter what, making the whole forge scheme a farce on it's own grounds.

There are really only two options......either God created everything (literally everything) just to make me suffer, or I'm so special/unique/important that I have some grand destiny no one else has. I don't have a preference for either belief, honestly, because no matter which one is true, I'm still going to suffer a lot.

There are way more than two options. Two that fairly rocket to mind are that you’re either an inveterate fuck-up who can’t manage his own life, or you don’t really grasp what ‘suffering’ entails.

There’re plenty more, but they are all variations of your delusion of self-importance.

Oh but you do, you do have a preference for a belief, as it's a coping mechanism for whatever suffering you experience.  You're giving it a point.. which will, as I mentioned earlier, end up meaning that the suffering is blunted, and thus the forge is less effective.

Not a huge problem, since you don't believe any of it is true in principle.

Honestly, this clown show bullshit isn't half as interesting as you mentioning that no matter what, you're going to suffer alot. Why is that?

Why is that? I have no idea. I just suffer, tremendously, for what I would like to believe is a good reason, but perhaps not. Believing in the "positive" option only makes me suffer slightly less. That's all I get in life. Some superficial happiness that amounts to nothing. Forget love, joy, all that good stuff. No, I was meant to experience intolerable pain. Awesome.

Might want to take that up with your alleged creator and his comically inept forging scheme, but, again...why? Why do you feel that your life is devoid of these things? Love, joy..all the good stuff. Why are these things not available to you as they are to the rest of us? What are you suffering from, or for?

I must have some kind of personality disorder. My official diagnosis is "bipolar disorder" but people with bipolar disorder suffer a lot less than me. I wish I had manic highs and crushing lows, instead everything is an incredibly boring and painful middle zone.

If you think your diagnosis is mistaken, perhaps you should do something about that? It's not exactly bananapants to suggest that you might be happier if whatever condition you have, if you have any condition at all, were being properly addressed, is it?

That's not really a case of all the good stuff being unaivalable to you, as it is you not doing anything to get what is available to you.

It can get better. I suffered chronic depression for close to 40 years and didn't believe that. But the last few years of my life have been pretty good. Just keep working the program.
