Trusting what people claim they see when their brains are dying is illogical.
It's like these silly coworkers of mine trusting elderly nursing home residents with bad eyesight and hopped up on medication that they're seeing supernatural things in their rooms.

I remember waking up one morning around 5 AM and seeing a little brown male figure at the foot of my bed with oval eyes and a small mouth; he was gazing at me with an evil scowl on his face. I remember thinking, "Wow, I am having a waking dream," after which, I went back to sleep.

I'm not here to sway opinions but to hear different beliefs and ask questions.
I'm always interested in talking to people that have had near death experiences, and especially if they were considered clinically dead.
It's reasonably well documented that you can have an NDE without ever being ND. That either means that god allmighty can't tell the difference between heart burn and heart attack or that all you're looking at are the hallucinations of a panicked brain.

Theist with Questions but I can't see one question mark.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Carl Sagan once posited the idea that NDEs are really just a sense-memory of the experience of being born.

Carl Sagan was wrong and he had no proof of his opinion.

He probably was wrong, and he would probably have agreed that he had no proof.
Sagan did speculation, he did poetic prose, and he did science. I have never been confused from his writings as to which was which.
