I find his comments fully of irony, that LGBTQ+ people should be "shot in the head". After all, does this guy even believe what he preaches?? To varying degrees, throughout the Low, High and Late Miidle Ages and into the early modern period, notorious sinners were often burned alive at the stake. The Church piously believed such to be an act of mercy -- being burned alive was not an instantaneous death, and so, the poor sinner would have a final opportunity for "salutary repentance," which would allow that individual's soul to pass into Purgatory (and, eventually, Heaven), escaping eternal Hell. If not, being burned alive would at least make the transition into eternal Hell "easier" for the condemned sinner.

to determine a religion if true or not is to look at the TRUTH of what their holy books say. you cannot base an analysis of truth based on abuses of the religion.

that said. Jesus IS christianity, and christians are to obey Him only. He commands as the 2nd command of all to love your neighbors, all people and ENEMIES. NO EXCEPTIONS (1st commnand is to love God)

So it is impossible to say rationally that a christian nationalism as defined by Jesus as stated above, would be in any way bad for the U.S. but should be mandatory and necessary
