Not what the term means, though I have no doubt that you are a conspiracy theorist nevertheless.

And does the USA have the most mass shootings per capita? I've looked it up, and various sources give me different results. Some claim it's Macedonia that has the most mass shootings per capita, and some claim it's Norway that has the most mass shootings per capita. None of the sources, as far as I can see, claim that the US has the most mass shootings per capita.

Twelve miles from my house there was a mass shooting this weekend. Several killed and wounded, including a 5 year old who was shot in the neck and another young child found under his mother's dead body covered in her blood.

I don't give two shits about what the fuck is going on in Macedonia.

The mall where this shooting took place is somewhere my daughter and granddaughter could have been.

The US has the second most gun deaths per capita. We're not in the top ten for violent gun death. Our high numbers are mostly suicides. Mass shootings are a fraction of the minority that remains. Bigger or smaller depending on how you define a mass shooting, and infinitesimally small if you categorize domestic terrorism as it's own thing, rather than a subset. In fact, if you adjust for guns per capita, what you'll find is that americans are extremely responsible with guns compared to literally anyone.

Just like we weren't supposed to call them racists, we aren't supposed to call them terrorists, so we spin our wheels trying to solve gun problems, or magazine problems, or "inner city problems" - and nothing we do touches that number..because they're fucking terrorists.

A small fraction of mentally-ill people will be a danger to others, with or without guns.

Assault rifles just make it really easy to kill lots of people, and feel like some invincible action hero while doing it.
