And good lord, has Harris done ANYTHING? Really disappointed in her except that I don't think she is going to be charged with illegal activity. I am not sure she could be accused of any activity at all.
Geez I dread the next election.
I get that.
It's going to take a while to work our way out of the present conundrum, unless Trump just up and dies.
The only thing that would rapidly change US culture, would be a popular TV show that demonstrated him to be the fool he is.

Trump dying at this point would be the worst scenario imaginable. Biden can probably beat Trump, it’s unlikely he could beat Haley or DeSantis. Those two are just as evil as Trump, but a helluva lot smarter.

It's not that I think Biden has done a bad job. But I do think that his age and some blunders of late will work against him.
I think it is the fact that he has not come to terms with, much less began to deal with, half of the US being anti-democratic in the sense of not caring a wit about meaning of democratic institutions or thinking democracy means they rightfully get what they want, that will likely mark him as a failure in the only area where his success or failure would really matter to the US in the long term.
He might be seen as the second Buchanan.

Um no. Nixon's GOP would have impeached Nixon if he had not stepped down. They should have done it anyway and Nixon should have been charged with facilitation for giving the orders for the Watergate break in. Even Nixon didn't weaponize the DOJ or try to hide behind his office when he new he was caught.
Trump on the other hand is weaponizing his supporters against the law. He is undermining our institutions and poisoning potential jury pools as well as inciting his base to harass and threaten prosecutors and judges as well as attempting to influence witnesses.
Biden literally has no control over state DAs or state grand juries.
Grand Juries are randomly selected as a lottery system and the jury pool office does not ask or know the political party leanings of the summons of the people they send the summons to. Trump was indicted by those people. And based on warrants issued by judges, not Biden. Warrants based on probable cause and collections of evidence that law enforcement has to bring in front of a judge, before the judge approves it to go to a grand jury.
Biden didn't do this to Trump, Trump did this to himself. There are no "the two sides are equal" in this case.

Trump: “Cognitively impaired Biden will cause WW2”
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
