Trump and the black journalist
One of Trump's concerns during the interview was, "Is Kamala Harris black or indian?" Speaking of being out of touch with reality. There is no relevance to the inquiry other than pandering to conservative bigots.

It's becoming obvious that Trump simply doesn't know what to do when it comes to campaigning against Kamala Harris. He's got no plan and it has him off-balance. On top of that, it is self-evident now that his choice for VP was a disaster. He may never get back on track.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

I think maybe the critical difference is the enthusiasm Harris has kicked up. Trump never faced that with either Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden. It's an element he doesn't know how to counter.

They'll get their messaging together, but will that happen in time? Trump's campaign has already lost ten days both adjusting to Harris and defending the choice of Vance. They will need to regain the initiative, but I'm not sure they can. |
