2024 US Presidential Election
RE: 2024 US Presidential Election
Twenty years from now this nutball is going to be applying to The Californian Government™ for asylum.

They'll reject his application, ofc.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

6th in violent crime rates.
2nd in property costs.
1st in abortions - a result of poverty and racial discrimination.
High in the CPI (corruption perception index,) although admittedly perhaps a little less corrupt overall than states like New York and Illinois.
Worst RPP in the nation.
Worst city hit by inflation.
30% of the countries homeless population.
God knows how many businesses from California have moved to my neck of the woods, as well as plenty others to other states.

Hard to guess on drug addiction as multiple drugs in California have been decriminalized.

In simplest terms, we do not "care" what happens in California; the political framework of the United States of America allows for each state to operate as essentially it's own nation, and the reality is that issues such as "should criminals be arrested" and "should women kill their own children" *are* questions better left to the people of a community than some politician in D.C. - we can disagree with it in other states and ideally we should stop doing business with places like California, but if Americans can not decide on issues like this then again... states' rights trump all.

As long as California minds it's own business, they are free to be *the worst* nation in the union; hell, they are free to give everyone a free Bentley and a 75,000 square foot mansion - truly do not care, good for them if they do.

But as long as they want to dictate the laws of the rest of us, they will continue to be mocked for all the failures of their state.

"Hollywood wants your children to runaway from home and travel thousands of miles to live with them." has to be one of the most unintentionally "on-the-nose" statements I've seen, thank you for that one.

And how exactly is speaking up against these inhumane conditions, which you yourself admit happened under Barack Obama as well as under Donald Trump supposed to be protecting the status quo within the government? Given that this horseshit has been going on for over a decade under multiple administration,  interning immigrants under inhumane conditions practically is the Status Quo within the government.
I wonder holocaust survivor said the same thing he would so glib in his dismissal
Well, we don’t have to wonder what a Holocaust survivor would think. Here’s Ruth Bloch, Auschwitz survivor explaining why she thinks The comparison between concentration camps and today’s border camps is valid.

How about backing this up with some facts...in other words, citations needed.

Where did you get the info that poverty and discrimination accounts for the ranking on abortions.  I am not even sure how discrimination works in this case.

Worst city hit by inflation - last I heard CA was a state not a city.  Might want to flesh that out a bit.

Got a lot of pot junkies in CA?  Heard that leads to reefer madness.

The current number on homeless pop. is actually 47% - but what's 17 percentage points one way or another?

If you have some real things to say, back them up.  Pulling your version of facts out of your ass means nothing Jon Schmo.

Have you ever wondered why american children could be lead to believe as much? Obviously, they all get out there and realize that the fantasy isn't real...but can you imagine how fucked up shit has to be at home to even make the attempt? Rhetorical, ofc not, because you're an anti-american idiot.

You are aware that there’s more to California than L.A., right? The inland parts are actually pretty right-wing.

And, of course, he doesn’t look into why homelessness would be particularly bad in California: namely, that housing prices are too fucking high and demand for housing that’s actually affordable is vastly higher than supply.
