As for a gag order - I am thinking an actual gag on Trump would be a good idea - as well as entertaining.

I'm not at all sure that Trump is capable of being interrupted. I'm as certain as Canby that his lawyers have had more than one will-you-PLEASE-shut-the-fuck-up session with him. Doesn't appear to be working (and these are the people trying to keep him out of prison).

We'll only be rid of him when he kicks the bucket.
Hopefully that will naturally happen ASAP.
There may *happen* eventually (after yet another Trump loss) a turn away from his looser insanity, but not holding my breath.
Seeing the fools in the House who do his bidding / suck his dick, and have no personal integrity, there may be a turning away from repeated losses.
The Republicunts have no agenda or plan for the US.
One interesting development is Jack Smith's request to have him "silenced" with respect to his trials. He will likely be placed in prison for short periods, or somehow
gagged briefly.

Well, at least if he is convicted on at least one charge, Trump can be barred from running for president.
Regardless, Trump should have already been barred from running for president.

That depends on the charge. With a very few exceptions, a criminal conviction is not a bar from seeking or holding office.
