US Strikes on Iran (Operation Epic Fury)

George and Driscoll defied Hegseth, according to The New York Times, and cited the long and exemplary service of the four officers as justification for their being in line for promotion.

Quote:A US F-15E fighter has been shot down over Iran, prompting a frantic US search and rescue effort for its two-strong crew, in the first such incident since the start of the war.

Iranian state media released images of a tail fin and other debris early on Friday accompanied by an initial claim that a US F-35 had been hit by a new air defence system over central Iran and the pilot probably killed.

Aviation experts said the wreckage pictured was in fact from a F-15E, from the US air force’s 494th squadron, based at RAF Lakenheath in the UK, though it could not at first be confirmed when and where the pictures were taken.

US officials familiar with the situation later confirmed off the record that an F-15E had been brought down and the Pentagon was scrambling to find the crew. There was no official comment from the US military about the incident.

Subsequent footage filmed in Iran showed a US C-130 Hercules and HH-60 Pavehawk helicopters flying low and at one point refuelling together, amid fresh Iranian speculation that the plane crew may have ejected and survived.

When was the last time Trump had a plan.....didnt claim to have one, but definitely had one, based on the evidence available?

In contrast to Trump, Bismarck had a plan, Bismarck always had a plan

So is any other rambling idiot or criminal acting out on his idiocies or criminal ideas. Your point is?

Hes doing raping women and children
Hes doing dividing his own people
Hes doing putting incompetent and corrupt idiots into the highest government positions
Hes doing insurrection
But hey, at least hes doing something, right?

It reminds me of the energy/intelligence matrix:

Yup. Action for the sake of action is a no-good way to accomplish, well, anything.

Trump, two days ago: “They have no anti-aircraft equipment. Their radar is 100% annihilated. We are unstoppable as a military force.”

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

I find it interesting that an unstoppable military force is unable to open a waterway being held by a completely obliterated enemy.

In fascist propaganda enemy is simultaneously strong and weak but trump is too inept to copy this and thus end result is enemy that is obliterated and yet still capable of waging war, a concept which should strain credulity of even most devoted cultists.
The first revolt is against the supreme tyranny of theology, of the phantom of God. As long as we have a master in heaven, we will be slaves on earth.

I especially enjoyed when Trump proudly crowed that the US had ‘eliminated’ (his word) Iran’s ability to launch missiles, a mere two hours before Iran hit Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Bnei Brak, and Petah Tikva with those…whaddya call ‘em…missiles.

Through intermediaries, Iran has rejected Trump's request for a 48-hour ceasefire. Why even ask for that in a war you're going to win/winning/have already won?

That's not leadership. That's damage control.
