Wow Spat, do you think you could find a more biased piece of propaganda? In order to match your level of bias I'd have to find a video compilation of black violence an crime and then call all blacks "cocksuckers".

Okay, explain to me why this is proof enough that animals on farms such as these are mistreated in an appalling manor and deserve a decent life. How is this a negative thing [the video]? How is this negative propaganda? It's trying to make change for the better and it's a noble cause.

This is why I don't take your opinion 100& seriously in this aspect. It's simply a reality and if you wish to undermine it then you are part of the problem.

Why, because you struggle to account for your own biases? That video is propaganda, the worst of the worst of cases complied for pure shock factor, to bypass the human ability to deliberate effectively on the issue at hand and instill biases that taint judgement in favor of their position.

It's a dirty trick, no context, no statistics, exactly like showing a compilation of drunken violence and then arguing from that to vilify everyone who drinks. Yeah the animals in that video were poorly treated, but that does not represent more than a small fraction of the industry as a whole.

If you'd called the factory farm owners "cocksuckers" you might have been able to save face, despite showing a propaganda film, but to pass the brunt to [b]everyone[i] who consumers meat is absurd.

Here's a challenge for you - Before you decide to condemn people for eating meat, why don't you provide the basis for your self-righteous moral judgements?

Lobbying for reasonable animal welfare and cage conditions is quite a leap from simply condemning people who consume animal flesh, as you have done so in this thread.

Uhhmm... I'm pretty sure that there's a problem being addressed here through this video. It's a problem and it is biased. Biased towards the side of justice.

The production of meat produces massive amount of green house gasses, which in turn, add to the Climate Change problem. Climate change will cause massive problems for the human species in terms of lives, belongings & the economy. To stop eating meat would be one way to stop this pending catastophe & human suffering.
