It is nice to see a man who is willing to walk fully in Jesus Christ's footsteps, literally.

Killing yourself literally to please God is demeaning his sacrifice for us and a waste of a life, whatever that life's intrinsic value. Death is a necessary thing, it's also a sometime sad thing, but wasting a life should never be lauded.

Exactly what sacrifice did god make for us?

I was wondering the same thing. Doing your feet would be easy. Nailing one hand would be difficult, because I'd think it'd be hard to hold the nail while you pounded it in. Nailing the other hand would be impossible.

The wimp of a moron appearently hammered the normal nails into the wood first, then used power drill to drill holes in his hand and feet, and then slipped the nails into the holes. If you asked me the manner he cruicifed himself not only bespeaks of inadaquacy of his passion, it also bespeaks an inadaquate respect for the majestic no-nonsense-ness of Roman method of dealing with creators of universes.

The romans would have hammered iron spikes, not nails, through the bones in the wrist and heel of god, directly pinching and severing the nerves of god, quite possibly causing god to urinate and defecate all over himself. He might momentarily be so distracted by divine pain that he even miss a prayer or two as the Romans strong him up. If this moron did it like the Romans meant it, his hand would be immobilized by the spike through wrist tendons. He is not only a moron, he is also a wimp.

I don't know that I'd call anyone drilling holes through their own hands & feet a wimp. A deranged lunatic, maybe, but not a wimp. Of course, regular nails are way too small. You should use steel spikes. And you should blunt the tips of the nails before driving them in so that they don't split the wood. Jesus knew this, he was a carpenter's son. I wish I had that cartoon to share here.

Oh and I like how in the bible it was very specific that Jesus was crucified naked, but in popular religious art you always see a cloth around his waist. I guess that goes in hand with Jesus always being portrayed as a blond haired, blue eyed European type instead of the dark, swarthy, middle-easterner he really would have been.

A naked, swarthy, hairy, bearded middle-eastern type would not serve the latent homoerotic appeal of christianity, at least not for where Christianity has already been driven more or less into extinction by Islam.

Think of how far the cult would have gotten around the world if Jesus was protray in a manner more probable for his ethnicity - short of like a naked, skinnier, sheik Kahlid Muhammud with a beard:
