Ya see, Cinj?
@ Min -- I was just laying on the sarcasm extra thick.
I always see your points brother.
Oh, I know....but no opportunity should be missed to shit on the xtians.
I do suppose your years of pain and anguish suffering at the hands of Christians does deserve an outlet, as long as you realize you're exceedingly biased and bigoted in that irrational hatred.
<---- Shit here
"There ought to be a term that would designate those who actually follow the teachings of Jesus, since the word 'Christian' has been largely divorced from those teachings, and so polluted by fundamentalists that it has come to connote their polar opposite: intolerance, vindictive hatred, and bigotry." -- Philip Stater, Huffington Post
always working on cleaning my windows- me regarding Johari
Right.
To borrow Bill Maher's line: I'm not 'pre-judging' - I'm judging! You jesus freaks have been found wanting, Tacky. Life sucks. No thanks... I don't like toilets that talk to me after I am done. And I especially don't like toilets with eyes. Even I have standards, you know... Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day
LMAO .... I don't like toilets that talk to me after I am done ... it may be only cause it's so late - but that made me laugh out loud. I may use that at some point in the near future.
Firstly he obviously doesn't know the Bible clearly says do not pray publicly and do not ask for anything. God is very clear he will punish the another of You for testing / asking from him. You are only to pray as a private worship.
Secondly I would think part of not taking gods name in vain would be do not be disingenuous with your prayers just because your too lazy to think of one that currently fits. Thirdly if your going to thank him when you are suffering have the humility to thank him for humbling you by making you lose your job so you could see the error of your ways. God is all powerful and you losing your job was part of a higher plan. This again goes to not asking for anything because your understanding is flawed. Note: I am not a Christian but my parents tried to raised me one and I'm fairly sure most if not everything I said could be backed up with very specific Scripture. God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
