Castle, your posts are REALLY difficult to follow. They don't seem to go anywhere, or to have a point, or even to express an opinion.
Also, your post made some very wrong statements: christopher colombus didn't prove the Earth wasn't flat, a greek mathematician did 2000 years before him. In Colombus' time, most knew the Earth was round
Castle, your point makes as much sense as asking a goat herder that lived about 4000 years ago how a coffee machine works.
You ask why so many people can be wrong? Well, the answer is simple; they are stupid and ignorant and use a useless text written by those equally superstitious and ignorant herders. When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura
Of course the Bible is true chaps. "it says soooooo, DUH" People are so dull sometimes.I blame all their "science" and "evidence"
I used to live in a room full of mirrors; all I could see was me. I take my spirit and I crash my mirrors, now the whole world is here for me to see.

*still wondering what the point of this thread is
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell
