What are your answers?

RE: What are your answers?
Is there the possibility that you may be incorrect?

RE: What are your answers?
That's a lot of preachy.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.

Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.

You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.

Salty, btw, did you happen to see our little "rules for theists" section?

And all that preachiness is based on the promise using an extra large amount of words to claim something to be different addresses the fact that there is no evidence for it being true.

Has it ever crossed your mind that all those promises were made by man whom claim it was god who said it, so they can feel better and hide from reality, and to control the minds of the population?

Quote:As for the mockery and verbal assault, sometimes it's hard to keep one's cool, and both sides in this debate have spoken unfair and mean words. And unfortunately, being really clever makes it boring to converse with stupid people, so sometimes the frustration might get the better of someone.. Tongue

I know what you mean by this, I've had heated debates with Christians about certain things, I think it's realistic to get a little irritated when people cannot see the wonder that you see, no matter what side you support.

Do you seriously think that amount of bullshit will move me in the slightest? The majority of your sentences begin with "God says...", What?

And Lucifer? LOL? Are you so naive?

My answers:-
1. If God appeared I would have to acknowledge him/her/it.
Doesn't imply I'd worship the thing.
2. Both ( except God probably doesn't exist, but I'd hate it if he/she/it did ).
3. Disagree we pick on Jesus any more than other prophets. I simply don't believe he is/was the son of a god.
4. No.
5. My beliefs are based on probability.
6. Tit-for-Tat Id say.

And though it's highly unlikely, please don't ask me to be your friend.

For anyone responding, you are not late, I am excited to hear your answers! I have learned a lot, this experience is very humbling. For those Christians that have burned you, me included, I apologize. For Christians that have remained faithful and good friends to you, I ask that you keep them in mind when unkind Christians terrorize your neighborhood....
LastPoet, it's not my intention to sway you, Searchingforanswers asked me a question, and I answered.

Salty, it's endearing that you are asking questions. I hope that it's a step for you to reach sanity Wink
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura
