Atheism is not a worldview, so the guy is ill-informed and an arse.

No, atheism is not a world-view. But world-views are at the core of this endless food-fight, and the reasons it goes on endlessly are easier to grasp when you have a decent grasp on how those world-views shape the world viewed.

So far there has been a variey of responses, from "atheists are moral too" (not relevant) up to and including sky wizard hilarity (so clever). Yet no-one has addressed the problem of subjective morality when two opposing subjective viewpoints meet. Its descended into the expected undergraduate hilarious wit (see sky wizards etc) and personal attacks based on assumptions made about my personal beliefs. Is that the best that the "new atheists" can offer? I think the future of theism is safe in your hands people, just keep up the juvenile insults and avoidance of philosophical lines of questioning, repeating off the peg responses seems the be the order of the day, especially if they are non-relevant but get a round of applause from the choir...

Not true. My response mentioned neither. I addressed your initial question and explained a question you asked later on, which was something along the lines of, "How do atheists have morals and say they aren't theistic when they clearly have theistic roots?" You stated that the starting point for morality was theism. I answered this without making fun of your god or relying heavily on atheists being moral too. You completely ignored me so that you could continue playing the victim. Please address my response to you regarding empathy and sympathy and we can go from there. However, if you are simply here to pretend the only responses you are getting are rude and continue to ignore any that are not, I am going to encourage everyone to ignore you so you will get bored with your self martyring.

I've never done wrong, except for a couple of mistakes as a 6 year old. Other than that I've never committed a single crime. And yet I've been an atheist all my life. Morality does not come from religion mate. I'm living proof of that.
I live by basic ideals and the ability to use reason.
Live and let live and treat others as you would like to be treated. It's theists who have had trouble following the rules. Not atheists.

I'm sure you haven't, but that is entirely irrelevant to the post. I'm asking how you would argue from an atheistic worldview that my imaginary friend was in any way "wrong" to behave as he does. Your personal behavior or that of any other atheists have no relevance to the question.

Perhaps you could argue that such behavior leads to a lot of damage and might lead to one person to try to exact revenge on him.
