Actually, your parents did "grant you" all of those things. Laws of inheritance and all. You have played a pretty active role in creating your "self". Which is where this nonsense originates from in the first place. One cell isn't strictly speaking more complicated than the Eiffel Tower btw, but it's a poetic description of life that we use often. It actually took many many cells to create the Eiffel Tower (human cells), so I'm not sure why we are asked to believe that it has no designer. We know that it does. The way you've phrased this question is borderline absurd. Are we positing god in the delivery room? Hopefully not, because he'd have more than a few deaths on his hands on that count. "The evidence" suggests many things, sadly, not god (even less so your God).

I have to ask, if everything requires a creator, who created god, and who created whatever created him, ad infinitum? If your parents are not the cause of your existence, at what point did god stick his hand up your mothers canal and place you within her womb? Was your father really necessary? Is there a moment, independent of biology, were something happens that is beyond our understanding of sexual reproduction and a human life is created? If so, can you point to that moment?

Lastly, do you have some argument for god that has eluded detection all these thousands of years and would lay the whole debate to rest? Are you in possession of some sort of evidence that would suggest that god exists? How do you go about asking for proof of a god when you can't even provide any proof for your god? You say he is real but you still hold the burden of proof, and expect everyone else to prove that your god doesn't exist. We could have all the evidence in the world (which we already do) that god doesn't exist, but that isn't going to convince you. All it takes is a rational assumption, the only difference in being atheist and being religious is one irrational assumption on your life questions.

Why is it irrational?
Because it's not logical or reasonable to believe in a omnipotent being, no one is omnipotent. Some people believe that god made us and the entire universe, but the only reason god is brought into the equation is because their misunderstandings. You can tell this by Greek Mythology, they thought that volcanoes erupting was a sign that god was angry, but with science we figured out it was tectonic plates that caused volcanoes to erupt in certain parts of the world. With a greater more logical reasoning on how the universe works there is no need for a god. People use god to hide their fears about death, but how can one hide their fears of death with a constant reminder that everything they do could cause them infinite eternal suffering? That would only increase their paranoia, while on the other hand I find death as natural (because it is). Nothing bad is going to happen to me after I die, before I was born nothing happened to me, after I die it will be the same. Some people use god to show their "moral" values, which in the case of Christianity, there isn't any morals getting spouted out of that book of shit.
What I don't seem to understand is why EVERYONE is socially required to believe in a god? What difference does it make if I don't believe in a god or your god? Maybe it's the teaching of the religion you are acquainted to that calls for being ignorant towards someones set of beliefs or lack thereof.
