Notice what a sick twisted sinner she is. You see, according to Lucent, the only reason people turn away from god is because of sin. This woman clearly must want to sin for the remainder of her life. **rolling eyes** Deist, Agnostic or Atheist - we are all "non-believers" and we have to keep getting messages like this out. I think there is a light ... no matter how dim ... at the end of the dark tunnel of Christianity. Quote:The rhetoric is almost identical. Ultimately its all based on the same pile of shit. I do like one of the comments to the article though. I am not quoting exactly, but it says something like "Thank you for reminding me why I became an atheist." "Be ye not lost amongst Precept of Order." - Book of Uterus, 1:5, "Principia Discordia, or How I Found Goddess and What I Did to Her When I Found Her."
My mother's side of the family is predominantly Mormon. I can't imagine any of them thinking, much less saying anything so vile.
I admit don't know much about LDS - but I hope this douchebag is in the minority. There is a whole series of these videos. I wish they had something like this for all religions. I looked on YouTube and there's just the usual person in front of their cheap computer camera video. The only interesting one was a series of videos from an autistic guy. Poor quality but very good written (he appeared to be reading from a script) content.
I have studied the Bible and the theology behind Christianity for many years. I have been to many churches. I have walked the depth and the breadth of the religion and, as a result of this, I have a lot of bullshit to scrape off the bottom of my shoes. ~Ziploc Surprise

I'm sure they have their No True Mormon arguments all the time. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warren_Jeffs Quote:Warren Steed Jeffs (born December 3, 1955) is the president of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (FLDS Church).[a] In 2011, Jeffs was convicted of two felony counts of child sexual assault.[5]
I would rather that nobody was ever raped, but every time I read someone saying in effect, "She was asking for it" I really, really wish they could play the part of Ned Beatty in a real-live Deliverance movie. I mean, there's just no way to justify brutalizing a woman with "she shouldn't have dressed so sexy."
I'm a guy, and I like looking at pretty women. But I can control myself and don't jump on them like they're the last chopper out of 'Nam.
Christian apologetics is the art of rolling a dog turd in sugar and selling it as a donut.

Wacky religious beliefs aside, the Mormons I have met have been pretty much like anyone else. Same with xtians, etc. It boggles the mind to contemplate what creates such batshittery. I agree, but on the other hand, it pisses me off when some people take this too far and say we as a society shouldn't try to teach women to get raped less. Sure, it may not be their fault, but anything that decreases the number of rapes is good imo. |
