Kentucky Church bans interracial couples

They're steadily smearing the rest of us (and the entire state) aren't they. Building creation museums, arks, sponsoring racism. The idea that somebody might come to Kentucky for any of this as opposed to The Land Between The Lakes, Red River Gorge and the Danny Boone, or Mammoth Cave is incredibly depressing. Fuck, at least come to gamble your money away on the horses (by proxy via offshore agencies as you stand in the crowd...of course), or drink yourself silly with our signature bourbon.

So, to recap:

Come to Kentucky for
-Bourbon (actually putting a lot into becoming a vineyard state as well, if you don't like the hard stuff)
-Horse Races
-A sense of wonder and beauty regarding the natural world (hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, photography)
-Because awesome people live here

Don't come to Kentucky for
-Creation "museums"
-Ark Parks
-Churches
-Douchebags
(actually I'd like to add that if you would come to Kentucky for these things..that you stay the fuck out...in case the faithful might be lurking, we're all full up on this count)

Oh yes ... my fundy father has used 2 Corinthians 6:14 many times to aide him in judging interracial couples. "...be not unequally yoked together..."

And Stella's father was much more forceful in his denunciation of the interracial ban. "It sure ain't Christian," Dean Harville said. "It ain't nothing but the old devil working."

Sadly, Stella's father is wrong ...... as history has shown us, their ban is actually VERY Christian. That church might actually be a shining example of true Christianity.
