That is absolutely terrible.
Here in England, we have specified praying areas for FSM followers, and even atheist prayer booths. But anyone caught praying to Yawheh is dragged away and imprisoned without trial.

They may have a point.
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost
I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

I have proof that I am the son of God. You can disbelieve me if you want to. Go right ahead. Suit yourself. But I am the son of God.
Before I address anything in particular however, I would also like to state a very unheard of topic. The sons of God are also Sophocles, Euripides, and Aristophanes. I am Aeschylus. Somehow guys I got lucky. I turned out to be one of the 4 whom you guys haven't really addressed throughout history. You might be a little bit surprised to hear there are other sons of God. But I promise you once you research me deeply enough for the proof, you will want to research the other sons of God. Jesus Christ after all isn't Gods only "family."
My parents are very well known people (probably not well known to you however...). So are my brother and sister.
My name is James Brenton Killingsworth. You can research this name on the internet to discover proof that I am of God in a way or two. On this forum, I have been told without a seconds thought that I am significantly high nobility. Well, that is enough proof on the credibility of the name. But if you are really interested I will still be here at AF, ciphering through threads like most people do.
Yes, proof. There is the proof that the name means as I believe a friend of mine found on ancestry.com web-checks, the name literally means "from cilia" or in other words "from God." But if you are not persuaded feel free to investigate some more. Or better yet check out Sophocles, Euripides, or Aristophanes. They also have earthly parents, of whom no one else in history has decided to investigate. And yes, I promise you they are the sons of God.
My family has my brother and sister who are also "famous." The famous Yeul woman that is thought of only as the daughter of God? That is my sister. I won't tell you her name.
But if you aren't interested I suggest you stay out of this thread. I just don't have time for hoaxes.

"Doesn't it bother you that you sound totally crazy?"
I know the situation is way more complex than that which is why I'd never announce it to someone, at least not until they cross a certain line with their spiel. Knowing where to draw that line is the hard part. All religious talk sounds just like crazy talk to me.
I suppose... I'm using the filter of, "I don't believe you really believe that. I accept that you think you believe that, you've convinced yourself that you do, but your actions are not consistent with that belief." I'm not accusing anyone of being disingenuous, just of not being fully aware of what beliefs the subconscious parts of their brain use to make everyday decisions.
It's once the actions are consistent with the professed beliefs that we have a crazy person.
More commonly, some of the actions support the professed beliefs, and often these are the ones that trouble me the most such as persecuting others, or people frustrating themselves by denying aspects of their own identity.
I like to think that I'm a diplomatic, compassionate person.
I'd rather be patient, engage, and have someone open up to me, and open their mind,
than ridicule them.
If a Theist isn't arrogant or unkind, and act with what are obviously good, if misguided intentions,
I will be a lot more patient.
However, if they persist in their endeavor and assertion that their is the right way,
I will be just as persistent, and ultimately not withhold any arguments,
however unpleasant they may find those arguments.
When they get upset and think I'm on the attack,
I'll remind them that I allowed them to dictate the direction of this,
and it was THEY who had an agenda...
....and they must be willing to take responsibility, at that point,
that regardless of how good their intentions may have been,
they will ultimately be held responsible for being apologists for something that has a distinctly dark side to it.
on the other hand,
if I encounter a presumptuous, arrogant, judgemental Theist bitch,
then I kinda tend to go into Beast Mode....
....and end up driving home with her ovaries dangling from my rearview mirror.

Nope. That pretty much trumps anything I have. Well done.

Believing in evolution is pretty stupid. Since after all evolution teaches us that we did not come from humans (the bible), what it teaches us is to ignore the bible. It's conclusion is that we come from a rock. Pretty stupid. The truth is is that Adam is incapable of thinking about his origins, BECAUSE he is a rock before he ever thought to question God's origins. So the "origin of the rock" IS Adam, but it can in no way be equivalent to that of an animal, as evolution teaches.
The big bang is another stupid atheist proposition. It teaches us that there is a beginning and it was caused from nothing. Being caused by nothing, we are expected to believe that another possible big bang could take place. This refutes the idea of an absolute creator having not created "everything", because "everything" must exist somehow.
The above are just two examples of the stupidity of atheists. This thread is devolving into the stupidity of atheists, and I just thought it was a good idea that we all recognize that in order to not be stupid, we have to bring God into the picture.

Yeah, the problem with that (the biggest one, anyway, perhaps second to your "from a rock" idiocy) is that roughly half of the evolutionary biologists on earth are believers, and the largest chunk of those believers by far are Christians, who have no issues with the Big Bang or with evolution, who are actually experts in the field of evolutionary biology. My favorite personal example is Francis S. Collins, the lead researcher on the Human Genome Project, who wrote an entire book proving that humans are descended from the same ancestor as chimpanzees, and why we know that it is so. He actually considers DNA to be "the language of God", and evidence of the work of the Creator.
So your evolution = atheism is a bullshit argument. It's true that evolutionary biology disproves a literal reading of Genesis, but that's not an issue for non-literalist Christians; evangelicals make up a very small percentage of Christianity overall, except in the United States.

I think the problem here is the assumption that they stop talking.
