And why wouldn't Peter be able to show others how ??

Case in point, the presence or absence of Jesus certainly had no effect on drich's ability to remain staggeringly stupid and embarrassingly conceited. And being staggeringly stupid and embarrassingly conceited is the whole point to being a "bible based Christian"

OK, have pondered this for a bit, and maybe it comes down to belief ??
See, once Peter walked with Jesus upon the water, Peter no longer believed, at that point, Peter knew.
And of course, once you are no longer a believer, you're no longer Saved, and you are going to hell to live for an eternity as a skidmark in Satan's underwear.
So Peter, looks like Jesus fucked you into perdition !!!

Again, How did I answer this the first time?
I likened this feat as a walk through a high secureity area with someone authorized to do it who also has the power to let someone tag along.
Then I point out that one who has not been authorized can not repeat this feat on his own.
This is demonstrated in the story by Peter when 'loosing sight of Jesus begins to sink.' (He on his own power even on the walk through begins to fail)
This is not an example of being shown how to manipulate natural law or being passed the authority to do this feat when ever he liked.

Nope. 'Cause if he could, then Peter could preach to the new church standing in the middle of a river or lake. He would have had everybody believing in a very short period of time.
Come to think about it, Jesus should have taught walking on water, and have that take the place of baptism. Imagine it, after a believer has reached the right mental state, they walk on water. Without that state, they can't. Only Jesus-people can do it. Finally, some proof!!!! But no . . . no proof allowed.
