Oh dear,ANOTHER one.
An atheist is simply a person who does not believe in God(s), period.
Atheism is NOT a world view,a philosophy,a moral code, ideology, religion or club.
"As an atheist" I have no views on any other matter whatsoever. However, I DO have many views as a skeptic, moral relativist, cynic;realist, egoist and misanthrope. (to use only a few of dozens of labels which may be used to describe aspects of the person which is myself)

You prefer the handy word "presupposition". Gotcha. You simply "presuppose" that there's no god. Right. Thanks for clearing that one up. Cheers.
Just like you presuppose that atheists lead immoral lives because they aren't Christian. (Yes, I can read between the lines.)
You couldn't be further from the truth, little miss knowitall. I actually don't believe that at all. So much for your reading between the lines.

Well, there's still laws of the state, and atheists, as subjects of a state, are still technically bound to the laws of said state, just the same as any Christian, Jew, &c. Of course, like any other citizen, they can choose to follow those laws or not. Fortunately, most choose to follow them. You see, we recognise that laws come from people; but don't assume that precludes them from being good ideas.

Well let's agree to disagree (if you can live with that). I know some atheists and they all insist that atheism is a worldview and a philosophy. So if it's all the same to you I think I'll make up my own mind about your worldview and philosophy.

Yeah, "I'm an atheist" is an answer to the question "Do you believe in god?" This thread makes sense not so much. It would be like asking someone if they like pizza and if they said no, carrying on a line of question that goes something like this:
As one who doesn't like pizza how would people like you vote in the upcoming election?
Do people who don't like pizza believe in souls?
Oh, so you don't like pizza huh? Well what is the favorite color of people who don't like pizza?
Can people who don't like pizza live happy productive lives?
What about frogs?

That will certainly save you the time it would take to actually form a correct opinion.

You'll be happy to know that your reaction just reaffirms my opinion of the direction you are feebly attempting to lead this conversation.
Sincerely,

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.
Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.
You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.
