How did you become an atheist?
RE: How did you become an atheist?
And just as a side-note, I don't see how one can appoint himself as an arbiter of what people can and can't do unless he is staff. So again, how exactly was I crossing any lines over there? - that's rhetorical, as some other earlier questions and remarks of mine are. I am merely expressing a concern with how my speech was being regulated, just now, with no good reason for doing so.

IOW, you don't get to pick and choose who or what posts in any thread, regardless of who started it, so how about you stop acting like you do?

This post is so retarded I don't even know how to reply to it.

I call bullshit.

Bullshit.

Bull. Shit.

Bull fucking shit.

You sir, are a bullshitter's bullshitter.

Considering the context of my observation about you, this is quite funny.

You're a funny man, do you know that? You say funny things.

Say a funny thing, would you?

Ok, I'll put it this way.

In terms of the stability of the forum, I answer to the whole memberbase.

In terms of my actually doing my job, whether I am justified or sanctioned to perform a certain act, I answer to my fellow Staff.

In terms of my continuing in my job, I answer to Tiberius.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Constructive criticism - yes.
Dictating what we should and shouldn't be doing - no.

Don't strawman me.

How was I dictating exactly? I was not, he misconstrued my intentions in that case as can be be seen from the context in which I said that. And even if one could "dictate", why should anyone care about it and more importantly why wouldn't it be allowed? Presumably, one can't dictate without having some power. What power do I have on these forums to dictate? If what I said can be called as dictating then any single thing can.

How do you think I'm strawmanning you exactly?

I was referring to what I was doing right then. But I can see now Stimbo might have been talking about my earlier posts. Just because that escaped me, doesn't mean I'm intentionally "bullshitting".

The difference being, I'm not staff. You are.
