OK, that's implying everyone getting shot within the last 24 months actually was doing something wrong. So riddle me this. Only to take the most glaring incidence of a 12 year old (black) boy was shot within two seconds because he was playing with a toy gun in the streets. Video is readily available via google, I won't look it up for your convenience.

I don't know about you, but if playing with a toy gun at that age warrants death, I would be six feet under for the last 40 years by now.
If in the History of the world no 12 year old has killed a man or even a cop with a gun, then I can understand the idea of an over reaction. Not to mention the toy was not a overt obvious toy it was an airsoft pistol that had been modified to look more realistic (the orange barrel was painted black) It looked like a real gun.

Tell me that is a toy. That is a 1:1 replica of 1911 45 automatic that is designed to fire projectiles. Some airsoft guns fire with the aid of co2 carts and make a convincing pop for about 1/2 a second. These airsofts guns function in same exact way the real guns work. There is no discernible way to look at this gun and tell it is a fake. the only way to know for sure is to pick it up, which the cops cant do if the kid has it on him.

No, I don't need to seperate the two, since, having had relatives there, I used to travel there since the early 70ies. The mentality isn't that different. Police training however has changed radically, as so many other things, during the last 15 years.

They weren't as trigger happy before. And, on a side note, I guess the number of white, black, Latino or Asian minors playing with guns will be about equal, since they are all boys. Seems to me the black kid is the only one having been handed the letal ass end. Otherwise we would have heard.
That's because in the 80s and 90s 'we' started cracking down on police beating people up. Use to be a cop roll up and you pull a toy gun on him he would kick a 12 year old ass, with a night stick. Heck they would blacken an eye for giving them lip. they since took the sticks away and made the side arm the first line of defense. now this is what we have.

Yeah, Drippy. Keep digging. I know, I know. A 12 year old wielding a toy gun is a legitimate kill and an overreaction to be enraged over that. They couldn't very well beat him into submission which would be your prefered christian treat for children.

when death is the law sanctioned alternative, you damn right an ass kicking is a viable alternative. Something that the cops would not have to do if dad would have kicked little Jr.'s ass for pointing a real looking replica of a .45 auto/1911 at people. Matter of fact take the replica out of the equation for all intense and purposes this was a real gun. Would you react differently if the receiver and action were aluminum instead of plastic?

there is also like 11 mins of 'playing' that most news sources leave out of that video. Plus a 911 call that I initially remember of someone frantically describing a young man with a gun that has all but disappeared off the interwebs.. If this little kid was indeed 'playing with a toy gun' by chasing people around or practicing 'holding a corner' with his gun, and this is the prep the officers were given going into this situation I'm surprised they did not try and disarm with their car.

Meaning I've seen videos where cops will not confront a man with a gun who is menacing a street they come up on his blindside and hit him with the car as a means to keep from getting themselves shot.

You're one to talk isn't it your generation the reason everyone is now so afraid to tell a black person they are wrong when in fact they are wrong? That these marches are nothing like the legit marches of your day? That respectable and honorable men like MLKjr fought freedom under the tyranny of your graduating class?

..and what were you doing during all of this?? Just following orders?

don't you have some moon landing conspiracy stuff to post?

It is not your job to discern whether or not a cop has probable cause. That is a matter for the court. Your's like every other citizens (responsibility) is to submit to law enforcement when so directed.

Many, people foolish think that an arrest or being detain is the same as being sentenced to a prison term. So they over react, and try and excuse none compliant behavior with how the law reads.. Due process at this point does include an opportunity for you or me to defend one self. that is a matter of the court.

So again, does a cop have probable cause? it does not matter at this point. It matters in court.

I'm not changing any narrative, I showed you video of 2 men resisting cops by using force. The charges were dropped. If you're not allowed to resist cops authority, then explain why the charges were dropped.

Were the guys initially arrested? yes... I shouldn't have to explain to you that cops tend to misrepresent facts when they know they are in the wrong.

Quote:Did Christ rebel when He was 'unlawfully' detained, or did he put up a fight? What did He tell peter after he tried to fight the unlawful detention of Christ?

Did Paul fight capture, did he call for riots even after being whipped?

If you are honest to yourself about our religion you will note the whole religion center's itself around those of us who have been wrongful detained and prosecuted and yet remained faithful even unto death. So then how is the cross you've been asked to be somehow greater and excuses you from submission than the literal crosses Christ and just about everyone who followed Him were nailed to?

Not to mention Paul's direct command in Rom 13 for us to submit ourselves to the governing authorities. Which was a lot tougher command to follow in his day under an insane Ceaser who crucified christians and set them ablaze to light his garden parties.
Of which I'm sure did not receive anything close to a fair trial.

Did you forget that Jesus straight up told Pilate that he had no authority over him other than what God gave him? So Jesus was submitting to the will of God not the authority of Pilate.

As for the Paul (and for any christian), it was an honor to suffer for the name sake of Jesus Christ, they will receive their reward Does it not say in Hebrews that Moses esteemed the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt: For he respect unto the recommence of the reward?

Let me ask you a question.

If the "governing authorities" commanded you to renounce your faith... would you do so?

Except that Ohio is an open carry state, meaning it is not against the law to openly carry a firearm fake or not.

I guess we all know the laws are applied different to black folks, right?

I don't know who the narrator is blaming, but I am sure that it was the cop who shot the guy in the first place, his "brother." So, not only was it a black cop killing an innocent man it seems, but also a black cop who has planted evidence.
