The stupidity of sin

RE: The stupidity of sin
OFC he can't, lol.  There's no point in treating this discussion as though it's anything more than Huggy trolling a thread, in the same tired old way...with the -same- tired lines....again.

Speaking of,

@Huggy
I just checked this morning (to be thorough)...your arguments still haven't granted me that power, still full of shit.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

According to his claim he can, so it shouldn't be a problem for him to admit it.

RE: The stupidity of sin
"Sin" is a rather nebulous concept.

If we take the standard dictionary definition, then it's a totally made up concept. It's based on made-up concepts of transgressions/violations of "divine Law".

Sin means nothing in the sense of moral behavior. It means nothing in the sense of affects, e.g. Oh look I mixed two fabrics together and suddenly absolutely nothing interesting happened. Besides, if I work on a Sunday, compared to work on a Monday, why should that affect anything other than what day it is?

Also, who exactly enforces these divine Laws we're supposedly violating? The believer? Then it isn't divine to begin with, it's entirely man-made bullshit to control behavior in such a context.

Now excuse me while I'm gonna eat a lobster.

Fuck divine law in the ass.

He already gave us physical laws. Free will doesn't seem to be of much concern to him in that regard. If other things were so important to him, he should have made us incapable of disobeying them also. He's getting tetchy.

Not just saying it, but truly changing your belief.

Can you do that? You haven't answered that question yet.

What you describe is simply confusion...

Say if you told me something personal about yourself, seeing that I don't know you personally; If you provide no evidence to back up what you told me, then It's up to me whether I choose to believe you or not.

That's why statement from Emjay is so idiotic, being convinced by EVIDENCE, is called KNOWLEDGE it is no longer a BELIEF.

A leap of faith is referring to a jump with no evidence of where you'll land.

Knowledge is something you KNOW to be true, and yes only an idiot can accept and then reject truth on a whim.

Belief is trusting that something is true with no evidence.

Facepalm

Faith is confidence or trust in a person or thing that is not seen; or the observance of an obligation from loyalty; or fidelity to a person, promise, engagement; or a belief not based on proof;

I wonder if there has been a productive conversation with Huggy in any thread at any point on this site.

Just checked again, your arguments still haven't granted me any new abilities, Hugster.  You know I only have so much time, right.  Will these abilities materialize before I die? I;m kindof gunning for you...I'd love to have that level of control.

Don't disappoint me. Work harder, make it happen.

I am convinced by the evidence that you're a total moron. Knowledge or belief?

I very well may be... But if that's the case, what does that say about the ones who are constantly being schooled by a moron?
