If I want musicians feeling the pain and sorrow, there are other bands that do the trick for me though...

Well they have to start from 1987 and have to match what Kurt did in terms of being a talented and unselfish musician. I am sure there exists lots of good bands. Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains is one of the bands i like the most. Also nirvana started in 1987, Kurt died in 1994. 7 years is a lucky number so i consider that good evidence for him being the second coming.

Yeah I like those too. And as a metal guy, I should probably credit grunge for killing mainstream metal, which was a good thing in hindsight...

It seems??? The Foo have been around for twenty two years, dude. Also, pain and sorrow might be the last two words I would use to describe how I feel when I listen to them.

exactly. Which is why its more likely of Kurt Cobain being the second coming than him. Not that i dislike him or anything!. I used to listen to Foo Fighters before but i changed music taste later on in life.
