Is the generally accepted version of history a faith based religion?
I am a documentary film maker and I believe that modern day accepted version of history is faith based nonsense religion. It is very hard to almost impossible to predict what happened long ago in the past even as late as a few decades ago historical accounts are mostly assumptions and wild guesses. To further illustrate my point I made a documentary about world war II that shows it through an alternative lens yet remains as accurate as any other modern day counter part even though the accounts are radically different. For all we know History played out completely differently then we realize and in all likely hood it did.

However, that does not mean that the facts are false.

No. Jesus is a faith based religion no. Ore true that literally any account that are radically different.

The fact that we won WWII is evidently more true than an alternative version where goose stepping SS troopers patrol the White House.

Wait, really? Sorry, never mind.

While history as we know it may not be entirely accurate, I wouldn't call it faith-based since we do have data points to piece together to form the story. There's also some guess-work involved for sure, and rational people will turn that into "I don't knows" and "maybes".

I have no idea how this becomes a religion, though. I should hope nobody treats it that way.

I made it about 4 minutes and change before deciding you are a Poe.

Lenin died in 1924.  He was not sitting in Moscow in 1941 waiting for communications from besieged Leningrad!  He most assuredly was not expecting them from Trotsky who Stalin had murdered in Mexico in 1940 and who was thus NOT in command of Soviet Forces in the Leningrad area.  That was Lt. Gen. Popov.

Remember what I said about facts.

You really think that these "facts" and dates are right. Come on dude this is all a massive cover up by the global elites. This was decades ago almost no documentation is left for the public to access. Its all lies.

No history is just government prapaganda. they control the text books and the documents and relics. They decide what goes in the museums. Nothing is as it seems. I absolutely promise you no matter how ridiculous you might think my film is, its most likely more true then what the official lie is on the matter.

Ah, so you're a conspiracy theorist then. Why didn't you just say so in the first place? That could have saved me some time.

As Barney would say, "he's a nut."

GC
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Sure label me but if I had to choose my own label I would prefer artist or scholar.

It pays to keep an open mind, but not so open that your brain falls out.

I could think of a few more for you, but I've already spent my allowance of insults for today.
