When I do respond, it's more for the audience at home than the trolls.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Too bad staff can't just go through and purge the members list of those banned or those who posted once and haven't been back in like a year.

Thinning out the herd is good for the grass, ya know.

That's what I'm starting to think about these posts, too. I'm not on an atheist site to be some random theist's lab rat. Don't just poll us about our thoughts on your classwork and then disappear. Come and have a real conversation with us instead.
I don't believe you. Get over it.

For one of my college classes, I need to interview various people regarding their beliefs for creationism or evolution. I would very much appreciate whatever answer you can give me!

These are the questions:

1) How long were the days of Genesis 1 and why do you think so?

I have no idea. Are you asking for a biblical scholar's answer - because I don't know much at all about the bible. But I believe Genesis is a poetic story, not a historical one.

I don't know but I've heard estimates of around 5 billion years from people who study it. I assume they have as good a reason for that estimate as anyone is likely to have.

Clearly yes. Look at the morphology and the DNA. There can be no doubt.

I'm pretty sure Genesis is a poetic, creation story. So no.

Yay a survey.

1) It's a work of fiction, they are as long aa you like them to be

2) a bit more than 4 billion years old because multiple lines of evidence from geology and physics.

3) Because we are genetically so closely related and you can even trace the remainders of retroviruses that have spliced themselves in our common ancestor's genome, who passed them on to both us and our ape cousins

4) I mean, maybe there once was a guy named Adam who got an apple from his girlfriend, but that's probably where the similarity to historic persons ends...

Yeah I believe this one never intended to interact with us. Just asked for info for a project. Perhaps he'll get someone else to actually read through his data so as not to risk getting his own faith shaken?

Yes, probably: Here, Fred, your faith is unshakeable, please read this poisonous feedback from the evilutionists and tell me that Jesus wins in the end. That's all I want to hear!

Looks like another shit-n-run, one post wonder.

I'm sure the quotes taken out of context will make him look good on his christer message board though.
