I think we have some devout Sexagenarians...
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

I know we've had at least one Mormon here in the last year.
I don't believe you. Get over it.

Not sure about RR, Steve, or Huggy... Protestant?

Sounds about right, except I'm pretty sure Lek is not catholic. I'd guess non denominational.

RR, Steve, and huggy are protestant, yes. Not sure on the denominations though.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

I can remember going to a Catholic high school, and we were once taught about the subject of divorce, how, in the Gospels, Christ said it was okay for a man to divorce his wife if she was unfaithful, and then in the thirteenth century or so (or perhaps earlier), the Church decided it was not acceptable under any circumstances. The teacher (an otherwise fairly intelligent man) did not see any contradiction between "maybe in some circumstances" and "never ever ever."

That said, given that the 1800s were a far more literate time than the first century AD, it's obvious that the shifts in Mormon thought would be a lot more obvious.

compounded by the Mormons belief they had been commanded by God to be a "record keeping people" and then for decades  they had a propensity to publish everything, and since their pew warmers took their church seriously (even as the poohbahs running it did not) many folks kept their copies.

So it turned out to be pretty easy for dedicated researcher's to catch the Mormon's in change after change and lie after lie, even 100 years later.  Turns out EVERY revelation they have received from God for well over their first century of existence has been riddled with errors and God has had to revise (sometimes by 180 degree shifts in meaning) EVERY single one of them at least once, and the vast majority of them have been revised 2 or more times.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

From what I've observed there are Catholics, Baptists, some sort of protestant and non-denominational.....I'm asking this because it seems that most of denominations are rather secluded about going out of their inner circle. I mean certainly there are no Evangelists or if there were are they those that quickly get banned because of their aggressive attempts of conversions by sending PMs?

I'm a Southern Baptist and an evangelist, I do not push hard because it does no good, too.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

You're right.  I'm non-denominational.  Anyone who sincerely follows Christ is a christian, so I consider members of all christian denominations to be my brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ.  I'm not big on religious rules and regulations though.

I consider members of all christian denominations christians as well. I dont like it when other Christians say that Catholics aren't Christian.
