Proper knots are important for bondage.

It is incredibly important to know the difference between a hitch and a knot.

I think it's a wonderful idea.  The primary reason I never joined Boy Scouts was that there were no girls.

Same here. Although replace "reading books" with "playing computer games and listening to music".

Stupid people should be made/FORCED to understand there are always multiple perspectives. And while no one is compelling the BSA to accept girls, the BSA is indeed FORCING all of it's affiliates to accept this new rule. meaning no one is able to opt out.. Do you now understand moron?

Did you read the statement they made? They said that existing packs can CHOOSE what to do:

"Existing packs may choose to establish a new girl pack, establish a pack that consists of girl dens and boy dens or remain an all-boy pack.  Cub Scout dens will be single-gender — all boys or all girls."

Read the source once in a while.

Oh, so sorry, you're OK with business making their own decisions but when it comes to non-profits they have to abide by your own morality. Gotcha. Whether an organization is non-profit or not, they should be able to make their own decisions about what they do, provided it's not illegal.

well I kinda did read the source material provided and saw the illusion of choice being presented. From your link:

The BSA’s record of producing leaders with high character and integrity is amazing” said Randall Stephenson, BSA’s national board chairman. “I’ve seen nothing that develops leadership skills and discipline like this organization.  It is time to make these outstanding leadership development programs available to girls.”

Starting in the 2018 program year, families can choose to sign up their sons and daughters for Cub Scouts. Existing packs may choose to establish a new girl pack, establish a pack that consists of girl dens and boy dens or remain an all-boy packCub Scout dens will be single-genderall boys or all girls. Using the same curriculum as the Boy Scouts program, the organization will also deliver a program for older girls, which will be announced in 2018 and projected to be available in 2019, that will enable them to earn the Eagle Scout rank. This unique approach allows the organization to maintain the integrity of the single gender model while also meeting the needs of today’s families.

So it seems to me on the cub scout and the eagle scout level girls w be segregated, but for the weblows and boy scouts they will be integrated.

Except it doesn't say that at all, that's you reading into it. All it says is that the cub scouts will be segregated, the eagle scouts plan will be released next year, and then it concludes that they are maintaining the single-gender model.

There's NOTHING in there about their plan for the weblows or boy scouts. You are speculating based on absolutely no evidence. Unless you can point me to a statement where they explicitly say their plans for the weblows and boy scouts are to integrate, you are talking crap. If anything their concluding line suggests they don't want to integrate because they specifically mention the "integrity" of the single gender model. So yeah, unless you have actual evidence, there's no reason to presume they are doing anything you've said so far.

Hmm, so I just had a thought. what will boys with feminine interests do(maybe they are more on the feminine side or like boys, that sort of thing)? Like do they have some facilities for that? If for example a boy actually likes or even prefer baking cookies and such can he join girl scouts?

And if the kids didn't want a gay scout master?

Then they can join or form an alternative group. I was a Royal Ranger when I was 11 or 12 in the early seventies, an alternative scouting organization sponsored by the Assembly of God church because the Boy Scouts were too worldly. The Unitarian Universalists started 'Spiral Scouts' when they were feuding with the Boy Scouts back in the nineties (I think).
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

I find that most kids don't care about the sexual orientation of adults unless forced to by their parents. (Mostly because their parents are fuckheads who should have the bullshit beaten out of them violently)
"Tradition" is just a word people use to make themselves feel better about being an asshole.

Can you clear this up, Tiberius? What is done for boys with feminine interests(the kind of boys that like other boys for example). Are they allowed participation in activities and such like baking (like in girl scouts). I'm asking you because you seem to be well educated on this case. I feel like sometimes when people get busy chasing after the masculine ideal they forget about boys that want no part of it.
