I have a special place in my heart for Atlas 
I grew up in a fanatical Christian environment. To question my bubbles’s teachings took a lot of courage and risk. I don’t think I’ll ever explain it well enough to serve it justice. To us, some of this guy’s ideas might be strange, and sometimes insulting, but in my point of view, he’s a guy who isn’t afraid to think for himself in a world where that can cause him turmoil. Of course, his environment isn’t similar to ours, so one shouldn’t expect his thinking to be exactly how we’d like it. At least he’s not afraid of making turns when all the road in front of him provides is straight lines. I don’t know what I’d believe if I had grown up surrounded by those teachings. I disagree on stuff he says a lot, but I have a soft spot for him.
I know I’m not a fan of religion and religious people, but when a person shows a bit of rebellion in them, when they show that they’re not afraid of letting a strange idea sit for a minute in their head to actually look at it, I respect that and I might make an exception. It’s when people are square that I’m unimpressed and sometimes even annoyed.

I've never seen Atlas express an interest or aptitude for thinking for himself when it comes to magic book. Hell, MK is the one wondering whether or not allah got some shit wrong, in this particular instance, lol.

Well, maybe I’m just basing it on my own interactions with him. I don’t really go into too many threads. I’m judging by what I’ve gathered when I’ve chatted with him.

Well...if one starts a thread they know will result in many people being hurt, and let's be honest here, this is a sensitive topic, then that person needs to accept the amount of backlash they full well know will result. They don't get a free pass or entitlement to be insulting towards that which they abhor simply because of where they live. MK hurt Alex. Maybe his post wasn't directly aimed at Alex, but those words hurt him nonetheless. I'm sorry, but MK will not be getting off so easily from me. I have every right to be angry with what he said.
It is his opinion that keeps the hate going.

Just so you know, I wasn’t referring to MK. As a matter of fact, from what I understand (I might be wrong), Atlas is pointing out that MK’s beliefs include murdering homosexual people and that he’s not being completely transparent. I’d like to hear from MK if this is true.

Atlas' magic book says the same...and Atlas isn't being transparent. It's inescapable, no muslim can criticize another - regardless of sect, on religious grounds, for tossing gays off a building. To be blunt, tossing them off a building is minor compared to what magic book suggests is the righteous coarse of action.

No one should be hurt by one person's view. Just as I am not hurt by the majority of people here and their view that I am in delusion.
If they truly know they are right, no one words of them being wrong will hurt them, and if they are confused, then perhaps the words are calling them to awaken and hence hurt.
I am not sure what stance regarding this issue I will take if I do leave my faith. And I don't know if I will leave my faith.
All I know is right down I am in conflict, do I truly believe Losty and others I know among friends, are evil, due to their sexual orientation? I feel like I have an intellectual stance that it is evil the sexual orientation, but, when it comes down to it, my heart is convinced otherwise.
So I have to see where the conflict is coming for, if rational, if for good reasons, etc.
