Does the head follow the heart in matters of truth?

RE: Does the head follow the heart in matters of truth?
Classic example of the topic would be the single mom with the scuzzy boyfriend accused of murdering her infant child. She'll believe his assertion it was in self defense over anything the coroner says about the death.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Yeah, like, maybe, when you've granted that people believe based on evidence.  Angel

But equally the majority of people can also be wrong. This is why asset bubbles happen because people believe that 'prices can only ever go up' and 'it is different this time', followed by a huge bust.

You need to find other ways to determine if the common belief is correct or not. You cannot glean anything from numbers of believers alone.

Correct in general, but that's not the case under discussion.
