I think the only questions I picked because of interesting debate potential were the free pass one and the authors of the Bible knowledege one. The rest were kudos based. Yeah well I rarely get much kudos but I think my posts are high quality. Well like I said Mathilda's seems interesting as does one of Jor's... but the answers I can imagine being very predictable and causing much more boring answers than some of the questions I asked. I'm trying to aim for something that would cause answers that will be interesting to comment on. I mean, this is the problem when you leave it up to democracy: The option that is winning is a question that has already been asked and answered on the thread before! "Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Fun fact: Circumcision was originally a Jewish only thing to differentiate Jews from non-Jews before the medical myths swept over into the USA and it started being done to non-Jews.

Actually circumcision was an Egyptian thing with the earliest attestation to the practice going back to 2400 BC.... long, long, before there was any culture which could be identified as "jewish."
I voted for question, 5

No. For one thing, those religions specifically require a belief in God, and believe that through free will people all make a choice to be Christian or Muslim. Judaism however believes that God chooses who is Jewish, and its a predestined thing. That's why Jews don't try to convert anyone, and in fact a rabbi is supposed to talk someone out of converting. According to Judaism, you can never stop being Jewish, regardless of your beliefs . Also there is an ethnic group, Ashkenazi, which is largely called Jewish. So if you are part of that ethnic group, you may consider yourself Jewish regardless of your beliefs. You can test that with a dna test. Certainly Christians and Muslims reject that you can be either and an atheist, and reject that you can test Christianity with a dna test.
I also voted. Where are the questions about why we are here, isn't this what the debate was about. Also the last question is in reality the same as the first question and the question on what we think about Muslims has nothing to do with why we are here or Christianity. I'm seeing that the atheist here have no original thought or they just don't care about this discussion because they can't be directly involved in the debate to derail our conversations. Now I'm wondering if it's a good idea to stay where people just don't care to hear what those of a different opinion have to say and discuss it with any supposed intelligence. By what I'm seeing logic and intelligence have nothing to do with each other according to the recorded accounts of the atheist here.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
