Without dragging my arse into the rest of the discussion...
It doesn't surprise me any more when this happens. It seems the more vitriolic and anti-gay you are, the more likely you are to be a self hating closet case.

You are not understanding. I am saying assume Islam and Quran is not from God.
1) Normal phrases in there, that should be seen by context and flow - in one clear manner by norms of language, they are not, and the most absurd and separating and cutting of one verse flowing to the next, occurs!
2) Entire repeated themes in Quran, people are oblivious to and despite it being repeated.
3) Always the worst interpretation is seen as clear despite the norms of language and context and a long with that as an aside - logic and hadiths - proving otherwise, the worst interpretation is assumed.
There is nothing natural about any of this.
And the 4th which is the knock out, is not only are they not seen as the way to be recited, many people can't even see the flow as a possibility. This is despite the norms of language and how clear it becomes once you see it.
This is not natural.

True, true, but you could do the same as me: attempt to shovel it out of here with our rational arguments.

You're assuming the Quran is true to try to prove a hypothetical that it's not?
You seriously never see the flaw in your attempted reasoning, do you?

I'm not assuming it's true. I'm telling you - there is something - sinister trying to covering what it says whether you start off believing it's true or not, you can realize this.
And the proof of that is normal phrases that should be seen clearly in one way by norms of speech and language, they are not.
There is a flow to it so clear so manifest, but people can't perceive it. And it has nothing to do with it being unclear, because by the rules of how language operates, it's clear.
The unclarity is coming from something that is disconnecting and mind fucking us all regarding this book.
Discovering this - and realizing this - was not easy for me, as for many years I was non-Muslim.

If homosexuality wasn't natural it wouldn't occur in nature.
It does.
Case settled.

What I see is your mind working toward proving something simply isn't rational.
Imagine that the Quran is a mathematical equation: 2 + 2 = 5
You're believing that is the correct answer to the equation because of what is written in the book.
However, reality outside of the Quran has this: 2 + 2 = 4

Rape happens in nature, I guess we all should rape.

It's more a kin that if Quran said 2+ 2 = 4 people will be like actually it says 2 and then + 2 and then I have no idea what =4 means, it's ambiguous, some people say it means this and some people say it means that, and then have multiple interpretations, and won't even see 2+2=4 is one phrase to be seen together and no they aren't playing a game, they literally won't be able to see 2+2=4 if the dark magic is such that it makes them not see it.
They not only won't see it most of them can't even see it as possible way to read it like that.
That's what I'm saying is happening in real time with regards to Quran and happened historically as well.

The difference?
One is consentual. The other isn't.
Remember, "holy" books, especially Abrahamic ones, say some things are acceptable that most enlightened societies have done away with.
There's another thread here about the Quran saying it's okay to beat women...
