That, and the price for a fix. I need a jolt from the coffee, not the cost. I may have said it earlier in the thread, but I have a cold and took a Benadryl, which makes me lazy as fuck. I like coffee hot and black; just leave all the other stuff to the side when I ask for black coffee.

I actually like Starbucks as an occasional treat. It’s (overpriced) dessert coffee. I treat it like icecream.
For real coffee I usually check Trader Joe’s for things I can brew myself (and control the caffeine intake). I haven’t tried Starbuck’s “specialty” brews cuz their smallest cup will contain double the caffeine I can handle.
