It looks like there might be a serious storm brewing down AOC way. Her campaign is being investigated for finance violations. At first, I thought that it was just a nuisance tactic instigated by her adversaries. But it looks like there might be something to it.

I've been looking into the AOC/Justice Democrats dark money allegations. Almost a year ago, the Justice Democrats this on their website in response to a question about how finances work in their organization. https://justicedems.freshdesk.com/suppor...tures-to-b I have a suspicion that they might be victims of their own transparency, since their fairly lengthy and detailed response might have been the inspiration behind the dark money allegations.

I haven't had the opportunity to read up on this. I was concerned that AOC might end up with a chronic case of hoof and mouth disease, as she's quite the firebrand, but it's discouraging to see something like this come up. I guess that's what happens when people scrutinize your every move because they don't like your policies or your success. I'm not choosing to lean one way or the other, but given the way the right has treated her, I wouldn't be surprised if this turns out to be small potatoes.
