Maybe this should be edited then? "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son" so Drich doesn't have to squirm when pulled up by atheists for the shit I did in the old testament ....

let me know if you think you can muster a conversation with topical points and not just insults and grand standing. You have to earn it sport. read something, think on it and then write your thoughts down...

I actually made a valid point ... I made light of it because you are being dishonest when answering and dealing with the bible ....
You use the old testament when it suits your arguement and then say it isn't relevant if it conflicts with your assertions

dishonest how?
The bible represent two distinct religions with two very distinct set of rules and consequences. ask any jew if they think they are christian, ask any christian if they think jews are christian both will say no. heck ask any jew if they practice the type of judaism found in the bible. 99% will say no, and the ones that do are lying because they can not make the temple sacrifices required in ot judaism.
So then why would Christian be responsible for the thing OT jews where allowed to do?
Would you hod a christian responsible for the laws and rules of OT judaism? what if you saw a christian eating pork? what if you saw a christian working on sunday? what if you saw a christian eat without washing his hands? is said christian not a christian because he does not follow OT judaism rules?
Again what mechanism (besides general stupidity/unga bunga it in same book must mean same religion) do you use to hold NT christianity to the rights rules and rituals to OT judaism?

So you are not bound by the ten commandments?
Am i an OT jew? Did God give the 10 commandments to Jesus? Did Jesus give the 10 commandments to us when he was asked what commandments we should follow as followers of Christ? No what did He say when He was asked?
Love the lord your God with all of your (being) Heart, Mind Spirit and Strength and the second command I give you is to love your neighbor as your self.under these two commands ful fill all of the laws of the prophets. including the 10 commandments... which is why we can eat pork which is why we goto church on sunday rather than the sabbath (Sabot meaning saturday) which is why we do not sacrifice animals on a alter. This is also the reason God does not have the same wrath nor demand we show his wrath to other people/countries.
The laws of morality are a darkages/medieval ideal who's remnants where based on OT judaism, but honestly where nailed and died on the cross.
We (christians) are not judge by laws or rules but by our love for God and our ability to love and forgive our neighbors.
So what or why does the law remain? as areminder that we need atonement that we can not every live perfect enough by the law to earn our way to heaven that instead we need to seek atonement/Jesus which means we shift from a law based ecconomy to a love/atonement based system as christians.
That is what makes OT Judaism different from NT christianity.
Judaism was about following rules to obtain a righteous standing before God.
Then Jesus came and extended the laws of the jews to the point where thought is the same as committing the physical act, thus top shelving/puting the idea of following rules to obtain righteousness far outside our reach. Meaning it forces us to seek out a new way to be found righteous before God. IE we must seek out love and the atonement Christ offers and show it in kind to others.
Otherwise why is there a difference between OT Judaism and NT christianity if NT christians had to follow the same rule set as the jews? would we just then be NT jews? No Christ's teachings where radically different than the laws of moses.

D-fence! D-Fence D-fence!
Why so defensive? unless you had/have no idea how christianity, the religion you are here to bash the people you are here to hate and make a fool of, you have no clue as to what it is really all about.
Oo, Oo, Oo, let me guess. you when to a strict legalistic church, where you though you had to trade good deeds andworks for favors from God.. kinda like going to chuckie cheeze and earning tickets in the arcade and then cash them in for the big prizes..
but you spent your whole allowance and earned over a 1000 tickets nd thought you where going home with that new bike or a playstation 5 but when you went to cash in your hard earned tickets you got a chinese finger trap a switch blade comb and a hand full of gum! With a shade sales person telling to bring all you allowance in next week and try for the bike again!
Yet never once heard anything I said about or past relationship with sin how it is not the measure God uses to judge christians and how rule based religion is a remnant of OT judaism, and has little to do with NT christianity?
Well despite me making fun of you I am honored to take away any excuse you might want to bring to God that starts out "I was never told the truth I never knew. Now you know, now you have been told. 9not that that excuse means anything any way, it's just a way of self comfort in this life when dealing with the idea of being judged or held to account for your sins.
