Random Humorous Things - A Light-Hearted Thread
RE: Random Humorous Things - A Light-Hearted Thread
The wife bought some bags to pick up the dog poop when out for a walk. They have a pattern of  Poop with wings (no facial features, though). That's pretty random and humorous, methinks.  Hehe
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

True story.

So I'm on a HomeAssist forum checking out device compatibility for my upcoming new smart home installation.

2 knowledgable guys are having a conversation:

guy#1 I want my vacuum cleaner (Roomba) to be controlled by home assist.
guy#2 It should be possible with the right software plugin
guy#1 Oh cool, I also would like to see on my phone where it's been in the house while I'm out.
guy#2 If it's running an android OS, you'll also need to root your vacuum cleaner.

both guys are continuing to discuss the finer points of smart home integration while Iggy can't stop laughing like an embarrassed 13 year old! lol
No God, No fear.

Yes, 'root your vacuum cleaner' was funny, but not as funny as a guy so obsessed that he needs to see what the fucking thing is doing when he's not at home.  He's probably suspicious of his toaster as well.

Seems like Russians really don't like Putin.

So how does he keep winning democratic elections for decades?

He wins via the Hobson’s Choice Election Model.

Just got an email offering to sell me a product that will get my body 'bikini ready' for summer.

Can't begin to tell you how relieved I am.
