Trump even outside the SCOTUS has packed lower judges in every state.
Mitch lit the fire and started this war by not confirming Garland.
Every president nominates judges and justices he thinks will support his views. It isn’t uniquely a Trump thing.

There’s also nothing in the Constitution that says you can’t murder people. That doesn’t mean there aren’t laws against it. And it’s important to remember that your last President who attempted to expand the SC was a hard-boiled Democrat who got his arse handed to him for his effort.
