The amount and affect behind this deep a deceit can only be described by an overwhelming amount of delusion. "Trust", "faith", "conviction", "truth", whatever you might call it - it has you @Drich. You're lost to this delusion. I pity you. And it's not only because I have empathy for your situation, but because I was inexorably in it too once when I was a believer, and my former mental illness only compounded it further, it took a great deal of emotional pain to let it go. I doubt if it's even reversible. The sad thing about being so ... captured ... for theists, is that their mind is as if it was assimilated by the fucking Borg, unable to think for themselves or have an independent identity.

At least they are fighting for something. Tons of people drown in pleasure. Many theists fight, even if they go insane in the process.

When I was a Pentecostal I used to wonder if God had a day planned for the Rapture that no one predicted because of the 'no man shall know the day or the hour' thing. We were encouraged to take things in the Bible very literally, after all.

The end will always be nigh with theists, because their religious beliefs have made them so delusional.

again sport those ready to go in the beginning will go in the beginning. the tribulation is for you to see what the bible says is true and gives you time to get yourself ready. the no one knows the hours or time is talking about the return of christ. like i said before alot of really bad things will happen from the three possible points of rapture to his arrival. those left upon his arrival will experience hell on earth. something i do not want to be around when it happens.

so when was the last time the one of the highest ranking semitic priests claim to be speaking with the messiah? They would not even recognize Christ and no one else has fit the bill since. (yes many false prophets have come and gone but no one in such authority before has made this claim. this would be like the pope certifying jesus is here.) so there is a bit of a difference this time. not only that the peace treaty that is being signed is the first of it's kind.. then the rebuilding of the temple again there has been no temple since 70ad. yet the prophesies have always stated that the antichrist would desecrate the temple, and the sin sacrifice.. what puts the clock on al of this is the 'messiah' said this last weekend was rosta shanana and this would be the last rosta shanana without the world knowing who the prophet was. so again between this last weekend and this time next year the 'messiah' (anti christ or false prophet) will be made known.
