My old neighbor Harry.  

It didn't matter to him that more than one neighbor around him told him he was cutting a tree down incorrectly in his back yard.  He was warned that the way he was doing it, the tree was going to fall on his house.

It did.

He thought insurance would pay for the damage.  He had to be informed that you can't insure stupidity.  

That was only one incident.

His wealthy parents gave him money so he would move away from them...it didn't take us long to figure out why.

I like him.   Uncontent to simply do what others have done and unconvinced that this is a bad idea because: gravity - he's trying something new(ish).

God bless every single human being who saws the legs out from under themselves in single minded order to accomplish a task.  I wish that the entire united states was full of these people.  He may fall to his death after this photo was taken - but that houses eaves will have gorgeous, otherwise unattainable cuts.

If I knew exactly how many pints of manblood went into the construction of my home, I'd set up an altar every year. Kindof sinister, but the people who built the house I'm living in did pretty much the same thing, in effect - and that's how I ended up with it.

Anywho, the reason that entropy can't win against us this specific way, is that it's not relevant whether any individual one of us survives. If every home ever built were built by this guy, and built by this guy in this way, and every single one of them died in the attempt - there would still be more of us, in sum, for his efforts.
