The option of a impartial/bilateral examination was rejected by one side, after being offered everything that they requested.

And now they want to whine.

No. There was NEVER an option of impartiality - as long as the majority has already made up it's mind of the outcome.

It's that old classic - we' ll give them a fair trial - and THEN we' ll hang them...

Why participate in that?

To create an illusion of impartiality?

It’s not a trial, they have no prosecutorial power. It’s an investigation.

For some odd reason™, we have to look into the events we all watched unfold on live tv, because some people are confused about what happened, and why.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I don' t see how that would leave anyone to believe that the Republicans expect anything other than a party line vote which they would lose.

Vote for what? It’s an investigation, not a bill.

Are you concerned that the anti insurrection faction of the committee would vote to hear testimony or subpoena witnesses, and the pro insurrection faction would vote to avoid all testimony and subpoenas?

They already did that.

Ya don't vote on commission findings.

Maybe you'll understand a bible reference: Jer. 5:21 (King James version): "Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not.

Well, Laura Ingraham is watching and being human garbage that she is, is also giving out best performance awards to police officers from Jan 6 hearing

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

They’re crisis actors dontcha know?

The reich wing has firmly sided with terrorists. They’re going to do this again…and next time, as promised, they’ll bring more guns.

Here’s what Officer Daniel Hodges said:

Quote:It was clear the terrorists perceived themselves to be Christians. I saw the Christian flag directly to my front. Another read, ‘Jesus is my savior, Trump is my president.’ Another: ‘Jesus is king.’ … Another had crossed rifles beneath a skull, emblazoned with the pattern of the American flag.
