The vast majority of countries do? Hell it says something when Turkey and Columbia and Pakistan are world leaders in taking in Refugees 

So this weak gotcha won't work.

I don't think Boru ever said New Zealand couldn't be more generous with the resources they use to help the migrants who land on New Zealand's shores. In fact, he said they're actually updating their quotas. And I don't think he ever said there's a cap to how many he thinks New Zealand can help. Of course, given how out of the way New Zealand is, I'm surprised they even get that many refugees. Except maybe from Tonga, or is that just Australia?
