No wonder they're lost. He doesn't know a (drafting) compass from a protractor.  Hehe

Technically it's a pair of compasses. And even with them I couldn't draw a circle, I was woejus at technical graphics.

I must've gotten all your skillz there. I've spent quite some time on a drafting board, and have used CAD/CAM for awhile, too. Each to his own strengths! Even though I was in the Navy, I didn't navigate. I was down in the engine room slaving and sweating.

A good friend of  mine was dog-sitting, and took the beagle out for a walk.  The damn thing kept wandering around her legs until she finally tripped over it.  Set back her knee surgery recovery by six weeks.

Her significant other took it out for walks after that, and he got tangled up in the leash as well.

His resulting wrist surgery is in two weeks...

I tripped over a dachshund while running down the stairs in high school and broke a bone in my ankle.

I empathise; I have a distressingly energetic Jack Russell. Really need to watch my step, especially when he gets excited, which is often.  (pigeon farts in front yard, that kind of thing)

My house is split level, but has only three steps dividing the two levels.  Still occasionally manage  to trip and fall up the stairs. Usually when carrying a tray. Himself does not make things any easier. Not his job, which is to prevent me from getting bored.   Cool
